New Delhi is the capital of India and an administrative district of NCT Delhi. New Delhi is also the seat of all three branches of the Government of India, hosting the Rashtrapati Bhavan, Parliament House, and the Supreme Court of India. New Delhi has a very interesting history. During Sultanate and Mughals rule it was also capital of their dynasty. During British Rule, Kolkata was the capital but later in 1911, it was made the capital of India and from that time it is the capital of India. Now this city is counted in one of the most populous Metropolitan City of the world. People's from all over the India lives here and therefore New Delhi is called as 'Heart of India'. Every year thousands of tourists visit Delhi.
