INDIA

India is a country in South Asia. It is the second most-populous country, the seventh largest country by land area, and the most populous Democracy in the world. Bounded by the Indian Ocean in the south, the Arabian Sea on the southwest, and the Bay of Bengal on the southeast.

India shares borders with several sovereign countries; it shares land borders with China, Bhutan, Nepal, Pakistan in the north or north-west, and Bangladesh and Myanmar in the east. India also shares water borders with Sri Lanka, Maldives and Indonesia.
